Fine art photographer Mark Peacock captures the scenes of the American roadside along 'Route 66' with various color photographs of the Southwest corridor of this historic US Highway. Route 66 was established in 1926 and decommissioned in 1985. Known as the “Mother Road” Route 66 was a historic east/west 2,400 mile highway. The route symbolized American freedom and facilitated westward migration and post-war tourism.
