Look how much as changed over a hundred years. And yet so much remains the same. Rows of desks, with tablets on them. Very advanced for those days of 1901. Just like today, we use slates in our modern classroom, granted theirs were a bit lower tech. You needed spit and a rub of your shirt on it, as I don't see any actual rags they can use.
You could only use a page at a time and show your work to the teacher, today they can just download your homework. The only real things that changed is the lighting, and that dunce chair near the teacher.
