Another vintage look at the early days of science fiction magazines and vintage images. Even the devoted aficionado—or fan—has a hard time trying to explain what science fiction is, and that the reason for there not being a 'full satisfactory definition' is that there are no easily delineated limits to science fiction. Characters that include aliens, mutants, androids, or humanoid robots and other types of characters arising from a semi/fictional belief in humans some how being involved in their creation, or future existence. In the early 20th century, pulp magazines helped develop a new generation of mainly American SF writers such as depicted in this vintage image of a Galaxy Magazine cover.
