Science & Feynman Quotes by RoseWrites Mug

There certainly is a lot of debate going on about the power of "science" these days. Even hints that science can overtake God or man can have God-like powers. I sincerely believe that God and science are not in competition with one another. Richard P. Feynman, American theoretical physicist, was quoted by K.C. Cole in Sympathetic Vibrations: Reflections on Physics as a Way of Life (1985): "You can recognize truth by its beauty and simplicity. When you get it right, it is obvious that it is right — at least if you have any experience — because usually what happens is that more comes out than goes in .... The inexperienced, the crackpots, and people like that, make guesses that are simple, but you can immediately see that they are wrong, so that does not count. Others, the inexperienced students, make guesses that are very complicated, and it sort of looks as if it is all right, but I know it is not true because the truth always turns out to be simpler than you thought." And I wanted to convey this on a mug, so I condensed this famous quote by Richard P. Feynman. On the opposite side is what I saw in a Twitter (now known as X) thread which appears to be a highlighted newspaper clipping. There's something nostalgic about newspaper or vintage book clippings. We can hold them in our hands for any length of time and ponder their deeper meaning.
