A majestic Scottish Capercaillie, with intricate pen and ink detailing, poised on heather, capturing the wild beauty of Scotland. Within the UK, Capercaillie occur only in Scotland and mainly in suitable forest habitat in Badenoch and Strathspey. The species is believed to have become extinct during the 18th century and birds of Swedish origin were re-introduced during the 19th century. The latest national survey in 2021/22, carried out by the RSPB and part-funded by the Cairngorms Capercaillie Project, estimated that there are now only 542 capercaillie in Scotland.

Good quality dark Heather gray, Gildan brand shirt. -it was next up from basic choice and cost about $20 per shirt. Not too thick or thin. Washed and dried well, no major shrinkage. Not see-through. Can wear a bra under it fine. Screen print is just as shown and well done, front and back.
