Scottish Keith Clan Dunnottar Castle Tartan Throw Pillow
The last strong rays of sunlight on Dunnottar Castle, located in northeastern Scotland, south of Stonehaven, paint the ruins in a stylized scene of orange and blue, with the grass's green holding its own. The cloudy sky is striped with the same strong colors - and no color. Dunnottar Castle was once a medieval fortress belonging to the powerful Keith Scottish Clan. Dunnottar was chosen as the hiding place of Scotland’s crown jewels when Oliver Cromwell invaded. The Keith family held the property from the 14th century, and the chief, the Earl Marischal, lived there. The last Earl forfeited his titles by taking part in the Jacobite rebellion of 1715. The castle was restored in the 20th century and is now open to the public. The Keith clan is fortunate to have other associated castles/homes: Keith Marischal House, Caskieben/Keith Hall, and Fetteresso Castle.
On this design, the strong picture is backed by the family's blue, green and black plaid tartan, which is under crown copyright and is used by the courtesy of the Scottish Register of Tartans. The Public Domain photograph is banded by a thin, deep blue frame and features "Keith Clan" and "Dunnottar Castle" printed in two contrasting fonts in the same color. Both sides are identical.

Fabric is very nice and of good quality. I like that there are many colors to choose from and you can have a different color on the back side if you choose. The pillow was to be 16" x 16" but ran a bit small. (14.5") Still happy just recommend you get a larger size . Design came out great. Colors were vivid and the overall quality is quite nice. Will definately order again. Highly recommend because it not only shipped super fast but overall I love the results!

I wanted something special for my daughter. I made this for my baby and she will have this in her crib when she is born. It was not pixelated. The picture was very very clear.0

This pillow has a striking design that comes from an original piece of art by artist Debbie Gibbs to celebrate the intersection of identities. It makes a unique gift for anyone wishing to message equality, inclusion, equity and justice. Placed just so in an office or home, it makes a strong statement. We love i on our covered patio/outdoor kitchen. It is holding up very well outside. Outstanding print quality!
