Sea anemones are a group of water-dwelling animals. They are named for the anemone, a terrestrial flower. Sea anemones are related to corals, jellyfish, tube-dwelling anemones, and Hydra. Anemones are ornately colored sea creatures that are stinging polyps. Anemones spend most of their time attached to rocks at the bottom of the sea or on coral reefs.
