They love some of the best white sand beaches in the world on Florida's west coast. They nest on the shore of the Gulf of Mexico in Florida. The beaches of Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Casey Key, Boca Grande, Lido Key, Bradenton, Manasota Key, Venice, Holmes, Englewood, Sanibel and Anna Maria are all their favorites! During Turtle season it's important to turn out the lights at night so the baby turtles will know to return to the Gulf. The season runs from March 1st thru the month of October.
