Vintage seal of the neighborhood of Dorchester in Boston Massachusetts. Incorporated in 1630 by English settlers, the town was annexed by Boston in 1870. " Dot " as known to residents is Boston's largest neighborhood. The seal bears the Latin inscription ' 'Pietate, Literis, Industria ' which translates to ' Piety, Learning, Industry ', the cornerstone beliefs of Dorchester's founders. I have a few different colors of the design available.
