Selina is another amazing artist from the Northern Territory whom we have been working with over the past few years. Selina depicts the country from which her ancestors originate and the bushtucker available. The Bush Medicine Leaves Dreaming represents a healing knowledge story that is taught and handed down from generation to generation. Selina's family originally came from Utopia, and the story behind the artworks she paints was taught to her by her father and her aunties. She comes from a long line of well known artists of contemporary Aboriginal art including her world renowned aunties (Gloria and Kathleen Petyarre). Selina also teaches her nieces to paint.
