This Rare Winter's Tale tile comes from MInton TIle Works late 19th century Shakespeare Series by the artist John Moyr Smith. Overall, there were 24 different designs in the popular series, but most were block printed in a single color. The versions with more than one color are highly desirable and the originals fetch hundreds of dollars.
