General Sherman, commanding the army at Chattanooga marched out with a hundred thousand men on his march against Atlanta, defended by the Confederates under General Johnston. On 2 September, the city of Atlanta was evacuated. The Confederate army was in ruins. On 14 November of this year, General Sherman burned Atlanta and Sherman began his famous March to the Sea. The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
