Sin Moo Hapkido (신무 합기도, the text on the shirt) is a martial art that combines "hard" and "soft" techniques. It is closely related to its parent art, Hapkido, though it places more emphasis on meditative, philosophical, and Ki development training.
The founder of Sin Moo Hapkido, Ji Han-Jae, defines Hapkido as “The way of harmonizing the mind and body through the utilization of ki.”
• “Hap” means bringing together, gathering, or harmonizing.
• “Ki” is the energy or breath in the body that connects the mind and the body.
• “Do” is the process or way this happens.
• “Sin” means "higher mind or higher spirit,"
• “Moo” means "martial art."
When translated in its entirety, Sinmoo Hapkido means, “The way of using martial arts to harmonize the mind and body to reach a higher more enlightened state of existence.
The ability and skillfulness of the Sin Moo is to neutralize any aggression by means of a hold, is stated in its symbolism (an eagle catching an arrow).

My 11 yo wore adult XL (5’7” 165#). The 8yo is small framed. She wore adult small and tied it in the back. Dark haired male wore adult large and 5’9”, 110# female wore adult medium . Good quality dark Heather gray, Gildan brand shirt. -it was next up from basic choice and cost about $20 per shirt. Not too thick or thin. Washed and dried well, no major shrinkage. Not see-through. Can wear a bra under it fine. Screen print is just as shown and well done, front and back.
