Skye is a 7 month old Golden Retriever Puppy that was rescued by The Rescue Express on 7/3/24. She was found living outdoors with nothing but a cardboard box for shelter. She was very sick, dehydrated, undernourished, and lethargic. She was admitted to the hospital on 7/4/24 for treatment and was diagnosed with Parvovirus. She was near death and for many days we did not know if she would pull through. She was released on 7/11/24 only to relapse and be readmitted to a second hospital on 7/16/24. In total Skye's medical expenses exceed $14,000. Skye has an amazing spirit and a heart of gold. She is so friendly and loves everyone. We have all fallen in love with her too. When she is medically cleared, she will be available for adoption. As a non-profit animal rescue, we rely on donations to cover medical emergencies for the animals in our rescue.
