Snowshoes Placemat
A crossed pair of snowshoes on a background color suggesting braintan leather. Customizable text reading "Alaska" also appears. There are several different styles of traditional snowshoes. Those pictured here are made of Ash and moosehide babiche (webbing) in the Alaskan pattern. Longer and thinner than some other styles, such as the bearpaw, Alaskan snowshoes allow for a more natural gate and are well suited for cross-country travel. The slightly upturned tips allow you to drag your feet a bit. Be advised snowshoes can make for excellent skies; generally at the worst possible moment.

I love the pattern, but it is much browner in person than the photo. Also after washing the back fabric shrinks more than the front fabric so the placemat is uneven. The printing is great except for the color which is much browner.
