Canada and the U.S.A. both celebrate their independence days the same week; July 1st for the country of Canada and July 4th for the United States of America. I'm seeing a happy return to reading non-fiction books in my area. So, I felt inspired to design a bookmark that you might want to have (or give as a gift). It makes a thoughtful addition for new authors and those promoting books too. I chose the quote: "I noticed how your people didn't support you, so I sent you strangers" which is a sentiment often attributed to God or the Universe. The font I chose is called "Square Peg" which is fitting since I always felt like a square peg trying to fit into a round hole. The flowers are from my garden and this photo of our tulips is also featured on my Happy Mother's Day 2025 by RoseWrites Water Bottle (in case you're looking to find another matching gift).
