This customizeable round pinback magnet design features a restored reproduction of a circa 1870 albumen photograph portrait of famous American abolitionist and women's rights activist Sojourner Truth, 1797-1883. We have added the faux antique gold accents.
Sojourner Truth was an American abolitionist of New York Dutch heritage and a women's rights activist. Sojourner was born into slavery in Swartekill, New York and she eventually escaped to freedom with her baby daughter in 1826. In 1828 she went to court and sued to recover her enslaved son and became the first former black American slave woman to prevail in this type of lawsuit against a white man.

The magnets are very well made and the magnet on the back of the design takes up most of the surface area which results in a strong bond with your fridge. If you are using this to hold up papers, shopping lists, etc, it does an excellent job. I was very pleased with how this turned out. The lines are sharp, the design is clear and a clear protective coating or cover keeps the design well protected so if needed it can be wiped clean without damaging the design. I would highly recommend.
