Russell Cave is a small but important National Monument that is little known. I happened on it as I was traveling through Alabama, off course a bit. I had to drive a bit, but it was well worth the visit. This is one of the oldest, largest and longest used cave for cave dwellers from early man to native americans, as archaeological evidence proves. I loved this stop for it's history, information and so pretty too!
