The sparrow lives in a bamboo grove and is inseparable from bamboo. In reality, it is likely that the sparrow was added as an accompaniment to the bamboo. However, ancient people did not see this sparrow as a mere accompaniment. They considered it a divine messenger to summon the gods to the bamboo, which served as a yorishiro. This is similar to the dove at the Hachiman shrine or the crow at the Kumano shrine. It is a bird that summons or invites the gods. (From 'Kamon Hyakuwa (Upper)' by Danwa Keiji) Although bamboo is not directly associated with such shrines, it is a yorishiro that accompanies a sacred object. (Same book, p.320) The name is based on 'Edo Monsho-shu'. Note that 'Mon no Izumi' and 'Monsho Dai-Sei' refer to it as 'Sparrow facing bamboo in a circle'.

I gave it a 5 star just so I wouldn’t ruin the ratings, and also because overall, I liked the boxes.
I’m celebrating my dogs birthday with a little party, so I bought boxes to put dog treats for every dog that’s attending.
Although, the measurements are posted, a person like me isn’t good with measurements, I’m pretty sure there’s other people as well. We go off of comparing it to something else in size.
I initially thought the boxes were gonna be a good size, but turns out the boxes are small, it probably fits 3, maybe 4 chicken nuggets that’s how small it is.
The boxes turned out really cute, quality is nice for what I’m using it for.

Bought these to fill for party favors for my baby shower. They are a bit small but ended up working out. I was able to fit one handsanizer from BB&B and 6 Hershey kisses inside. Then attached a handmade soap from etsy on the backside. Everyone loved them! They were easy to put together as well with easy to follow instructions. Just as pictured and easy to edit if you need to make changes.
