The Spotted Hyena (Crocuta crocuta) is an under appreciated animal that dwells in Africa. Though commonly considered scavengers, they hunt and kill the majority of their own meals. They know who to trust, what to believe, when to act and when to be patient based on what they see, know and observe. They are loyal to their "clan" (friends, families, lovers etc) but their devotion also means that they can be easily hurt by the people that they hold close to their heart.
