Spring maple leaf nature print Tile

This image is from one of the many leaf prints that I do each fall when the wind piles the leaves against my studio door. I apply relief printing ink directly to the leaf and press onto relief printing paper. Nature itself is the real artist here. Spring leaves are perfect and fresh. Fall leaves are worm eaten and worn with a beauty all their own.
