This label is Butterfly Brand Boston Marrow Squash, a handsome black and red label with a picture of the vintage squash. Old-fashioned labels often had wonderful illustrations in the 1890s. This vintage label would have been the label on canned squash when you would go shopping in the grocery in the late 1800s. The squash label is ornate, the Butterfly Brand labels were some of the most beautiful labels of the Victorian era.
