Canva is an online application that helps artists make designs. The image design is original. It is meant to bring joy to the reader. I enjoy writing about nature and squirrels. Winter can be beautiful with trees covered in snow. The idea for the haiku came from watching squirrels at parks and yards. Squirrels can be so joyful to watch as they run and play together. I look out my window at my neighbor's garden and feel joy seeing all the animals and birds looking for food. Animals make the best use of their environment, no matter how the weather is. Their spunk and tenacity inspire and I enjoy writing haikus about animals. Sometimes they come right to my window and look at me. They are not scared. They will eat in front of my window sometimes. Writing about trees and plants also brings me joy. Watching their leaves change to yellows, reds, and oranges this time of year, brings me so much joy. I also wrote about the Northern Cardinal. I have seen them in parks and my neighbor’s yard out my window. Sometimes it is a couple or a single bird. I love hearing their calls. Many other birds fall to my neighbor’s yard Blue Jays, and mourning doves, sparrows. I have written poems and stories about them. I enjoy nature so much, it inspires me and helps me to breathe easily and to calm down in this hectic world, of city hustle. I love creating new projects. I wanted to try using Canva to create images for my poems. It takes time to create paintings or drawings. I like to use new mediums. The Squirrel Haiku Image comes in two versions, a faded and brown version. the content was taken from the Canva graphics and I created a scene with a squirrel. It is enjoyable and colorful; the haiku is for those who like to be entertaining are curious and love nature. Please enjoy!
