The beautiful city of historic St. Augustine on Florida's northeast coast was established in 1565 by Pedro Menendez de Aviles (Pedro Menéndez de Avilés). The city celebrates its 450th birthday in 2015. Saint Augustine is the oldest continuously inhabited European settlement in the present day United States of America -- 43 years older than Jamestown, Virginia. This mug celebrates the city and its history .... and maybe has a little fun with it's younger sibling.
