St Jude Thaddeus, Invoked for Difficult Golf Shots Golf Ball Marker

Need help with your golf game? Do your golf balls land in the rough or out of bounds? Do your golf balls bounce or rub the green? Place yourself under the patronage of St. Jude Thaddeus best known as the "patron saint of hopeless causes." He can surely be invoked for help with challenging golf situations! + Saints_Aplenty’s image of St. Jude is a remix of a traditional Catholic devotional image from the designer’s private collection of religious ephemera with elements from various public domain resources. Here, St. Jude (1st century) is clad in a green robe and muted, earthy blue mantle with a peach-colored lining. He holds a cross aloft in his left hand and a golf club head downwards in his left. Behind him is his golf club stand bag. Against a heavenly blue sky, St. Jude is surrounded by a mandorla or almond-shaped radiance that encircles his entire body and indicates his holiness. + Ironically perhaps, according to some accounts, St. Jude was martyred by being beaten to death with a club before being beheaded postmortem. In art, he is frequently shown, like St. James the Less, holding a large cudgel significantly thicker at one end than the other. Virtually ignored for many centuries because his given name sounded suspiciously like the name of Christ’s betrayer Judas Iscariot, St. Jude Thaddeus was infrequently invoked in prayer until the Lord Himself revealed to various saints through visions Jude’s powerful role as intercessor in dire situations. Today, St. Jude Thaddeus is revered and credited with many miracles by The Faithful. + Feast: October 28
