St. Lucy of Syracuse Magnet (Square)

Lucy of Syracuse, an early Christian martyr of Sicily, is often associated with eyesight due to her name, derived from the Latin "lux," light. She is the patron saint invoked against eye problems and blindness, and protectress of authors, salesmen, sore throats, stained glass workers, and writers. Her feast day is 13 December.
