St. Marina of Antioch was born into a family of wealthy pagans. Her parents died when she was very young, and she grew up with a nanny. When she was a teen, she discovered Christ, and she dedicated her life to Him. The head of Antioch saw her and wanted her. She refused. She was subsequently tortured and martyred. PLEASE NOTE: Most of the icons are very old. If you increase the image, please look *very carefully* if the image's clarity is what you want. Another gorgeous story-telling puzzle to frame on my wall. It's effortless to assemble and the colors are so beautiful. There's something nostalgic about it even though I've never been to Japan but I do love the culture. Absolutely charming to look at everyday. It was printed perfectly. The pieces are smooth and weren't off in the slightest. Everything was exactly what I've come to expect from zazzle. I love this puzzle! :D
