St Nectans Glen is a magical and secret place of outstanding natural beauty, that few people know about. The Glen and waterfall can be reached by walking from Trethevy, a village between Tintagel and Boscastle on the north Cornwall coast. To reach St Nectans Glen you need to pass St Piran’s Well and the lovely little church nearby; then walk for a mile or so along the beautiful wooded river Trevillet valley. People that pass this way often build mounds of stones or “Faery Stacks” in memory of a loved one or just for the pleasure of being in such an enchanting place.
