St. Piran of Cornwall (SAE 01) Bilingual Toast Beer Stein

While St. David of Wales was so famously abstemious that he was known as “the Water Drinker”, St. Piran of Cornwall was known to raise a pint or two. Thus, we have designed water bottles for St. David and beer glasses as well as a stein for St. Piran. But, don’t raise too many of these steins in toasts: You may be said to be “drunk as a perraner” according to a 19th-century Cornish phrase! + St. Piran is patron saint of Cornwall, tin miners, and--by extension--miners in general. + Feast: March 5 + The figure of St. Piran with his attributes is a pastiche of elements detailed elsewhere.
