Star Quilt in Purple and Orange Round Clock
This is a star quilt pattern in the traditional Native American quilting style. The predominant colors are purple and orange calico with some grey and a central star of turquoise. Star quilts are traditional gift blankets given away at honoring ceremonies to guests. The star quilt represents the coming together of the related tribes of a nation of Native Americans. The star is always made with a diamond pattern. Black is never used in star quilts.
