This shirt inspiration comes from a childhood memory from school. It seemed like everyone had to have several #2 pencils for some reason. Not sure why that testing machine could only read lead from a #2 pencil. Probably had to do with kickbacks or some other incentive for the schools. I remember making the trek from my desk all the way to the front of the class to the pencil sharpener screwed onto the wall beside the chalkboard.
