Stone Arch Bridge Water Reflections Blue Hues Postcard

Stone Arch Bridge Water Reflections Blue Hues Postcard

Beautiful blue hues ranging from aqua to sky blue, deep blue to purple show off this section of a stone arch bridge traversing Ruisseau de la Brasserie, or Brewery Creek, in Gatineau (Hull) Quebec, Canada. You see the reflections of the bridge in foreground, and through the arched opening there's a row of reflections of concrete posts, which are on a wall just above the creek. The bridge and its reflection in the water have more purple tones while the water tends to aqua, with the medium deep blues moderating a happy balance. Ruisseau de la Brasserie connects with the Ottawa River to the south and east to create l'Ile de Hull, or the Island of Hull, also known as Vieux Hull or Old Hull. I took this pic while sitting on an island in the middle of Brewery Creek, looking north. It's a beautiful day in the merry month of May. I love the many patterns here, the stones of the bridge, the arch stones that reflect in the water like a giant eye, the strong repetitive lines of the railing and posts, the suggestion of trees in the water ripples at lower left, which are the only organic (ie living) element to be seen. There is a feeling of calm, tranquility, peace. Original photo artwork M Sylvia Chaume. Happy blessings!

I had never seen these classic science fiction images and most of my friends have not seen them either. They are like little treasures! Amazing quality and fun to send people!

I joined Postcrossing a few months ago and wanted postcards to represent my state well. I found them on Zazzle. I purchased numerous cards and was impressed with all of them. Excellent! The colors are beautiful. The cards have the exact look I wanted. I couldn't be happier.
