Even crayon drawings can hide the truth. This design is purposefully Childishly Drawn... As an abused child, I drew happy crayon families to hide that abuse... I'm not the only one. Kids are far better at keeping secrets than adults realize, if they feel that secret is important. As my mother watched a 'Lifetime' movie once, I learned that even my sad drawings could give me away... I never again drew a sad painting. Children showing no signs of abuse may still have experienced it. Help spread the world, and protect our children.
