Its not gold. It is a dirty tan color and it is not metal.

Ordered these for my beach wedding. Was super easy to customize online and arrived exactly as the rendering made them look. Only reason they got 4 stars is because the glue dots they come with for assembly are worthless. I ended up using spray glue and it worked great! Very sturdy, great quality!
