I have had this case for about two months now and it has definitely done its duty. I have dropped it on concrete and it has been at the mercy of my clumsy young siblings, showing only simple, minuet scratches that can only be seen if you know they are there.

The printing was perfect. I love the look of black and white photos and the words pop. My 5c is pink and the case shows enough of it to be gorgeous. Love it.

This is a super thin case, so wouldn't say it's for protecting it from drops, but it will protect the outside from scratches and every day wear.
