Stormy Seas of the Atlantic Ocean Flyer

It was summer and while walking along the beach on Long Beach Island I took this photo. This seascape, at the Jersey Shore, captures the awesome power of nature. As the curl of the wave reaches its crest, a westerly wind creates a wispy spray and the wave culminates in this large long tube breaking in the middle. The weather was overcast as a northeaster passes by offshore. Dark gray cumulus clouds loom heavy over a stormy sea. A gull is seen along the edge of the surf, just upland of the rough whitewater as the breakers and waves come crashing ashore then retreat. Color Photography on LBI during a noreaster.
