Stormy Seas of the Atlantic Ocean Pen

It was an overcast day on Long Beach Island. A northeaster passes by offshore and dark gray cumulus clouds loom heavy over a stormy sea. As the curl of a wave reaches its crest, a westerly wind creates a wispy spray as the wave culminates in a long tube breaking in the middle. As the breakers and waves come crashing ashore, an area of rough whitewater looms along the edge of the surf. Seacape photography on LBI, during a noreaster, at the Jersey Shore.
