Dark storm clouds move over a field as just a few small rays of sunlight beam from behind some trees on the front of this flat thank you card. The text on the front says, "When it was dark, you were my Light." The blank white writing space on the back of this card allows you plenty of room for your personalized note of gratitude! I created this design during the second year of the pandemic. My photo is older, and one I had previously edited in a photo editing course I was enrolled in when I was still a teacher. But as I came upon this photo again, with its bright sunlight beaming through the tree, it reminded me of those who offered understanding and love in a time when we all needed it most. Now two years later, I feel the sentiment it offers is still quite relevant and one some may wish to share in the recovery period after other dark times of their own. It can sometimes be hard to share a message like this one, but it is also a powerful statement of gratitude and appreciation for those who bring out the best in us and who are with us in good times and bad.
