For families, there was the DRAWING ROOM with washroom facilities to assure real homelike comfort. It could be made up to provide an individual bed for 1, 2, or 3 people. The porter could set up a table for food service, writing or games. Or you could opt for the BEDROOM which contained all the necessary facilities including 2 berths, an upper and lower. In daytime, the upper berth folded into the wall and the lower converted into a sofa. Joining 2 adjoining bedrooms offered spacious accommodations. Experienced travelers liked the Roomette, designed for individuals with a folding bed and washroom facilities. The luxurious Club Car for Pullman passengers had deep-cushioned lounges and chairs, writing des, radio and magazine table with current periodicals. It also offered a retreat area for those who prefer to remain undisturbed, to relax in a comfortable chair while viewwing the passing scenery or becoming lost in an interesting book or magazine. You could enjoy dinner in the club car or dining room with gleaming silver and sparkling glassware.
