Study of a Crouching Fox (by John Frederick Lewis) Dart Board
This design features an artistic depiction of a fox by English painter John Frederick Lewis (1804–1876). It shows a fox with red fur facing right. It is a quick sketch, but it shows a great degree of emotion on the animal's face. The artwork was created with the use of watercolor and graphite, and it was completed in the early 1820s. It is currently housed in the Yale Center for British Art, New Haven, Connecticut.
