Stylized Unicorn and Horse Accessory Pouch

A brown horse accompanies a white unicorn as they stop at a stream with a waterfall in the distance. Unusual vegetation dot the landscape. This fantasy painting by my mother, Yee Wah Jung, was done in the "Tu-Aunqua" style, designed on tissue paper first in an outline, transferred onto paper backed silk fabric and then painted in oil. This term, seen in an exhibit brochure, may have been a rough phonetic translation of "labor table painting" from Chinese.
