Sugarloaf Maine Music Festival T-Shirt
Music festival design for this festival that I went to as a teenager. I recreated this design from my memory of what the art on the Festival T-shirts looked like. I held onto the shirt for years but it is long gone now. This music festival happened at Sugarloaf Ski Resort in western Maine on August 14, 1982. The bands that I can remember seeing were JB Hutto and the New Hawks, Texas blues guitarist, Johnny Copeland and Cub Koda, the guy who wrote and sang Smokin In the Boys Room. Cub Koda was touring with Hound Dog Taylors band the Houserockers (Ted Harvey and Brewer Phillips) at this point in time so they may have been playing at this show... wish I could remember it all.

My 11 yo wore adult XL (5’7” 165#). The 8yo is small framed. She wore adult small and tied it in the back. Dark haired male wore adult large and 5’9”, 110# female wore adult medium . Good quality dark Heather gray, Gildan brand shirt. -it was next up from basic choice and cost about $20 per shirt. Not too thick or thin. Washed and dried well, no major shrinkage. Not see-through. Can wear a bra under it fine. Screen print is just as shown and well done, front and back.
