    This is a photograph of the lighthouse on Sullivan's Island taken while visiting South Carolina. This was the last major lighthouse built by the federal government and looks more like an air traffic controller than a traditional lighthouse. The color was updated from orange and black to the modern white and black you see in this photograph.
