Sunflower Ancient Rome Italian Apron
Gorgeous sunflowers from a medieval Italian botanical illustration are featured on this lovely and sophisticated design along with a vintage postcard of the coliseum in Rome, including the Roman postmark on the back, an Italian manuscript from the 1200s, vintage calligraphy advertising typography and an old 100 Lira stamp. The Italian expression, "Qui Si Mangia Bene" means Here one eats well. A perfect apron for an Italian mama or any good cook or lover of things Italian. Digital collage by artist Anita Barnard. This design is also available on a throw pillow, messenger bag and iPad case, with matching Italian products available and/or forthcoming in my Zazzle shop.

The fabric was sturdy and of good quality. The Rome sunflower design came out well, with good detail. This was a perfect gift for my mother who is half Italian and a great cook. Colors were good, detail was very good.

The apron is of very good quality. I used it while icing cookies. The dark colored icing washed off of the apron very well! The neck strap is sturdy and easy to resize on the adult size apron. The print was clear and well defined. I am glad I was able to personalize with name.
