Vase with Twelve Sunflowers is the third version of the second sunflowers series by Vincent van Gogh, painted in Arles during August 1888. The background is blue-green and the flowers seem much more yellow than in the former two versions. Oil on canvas, 91 x 72 cm. Munich, Neue Pinakothek. F 456, JH 1561 Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist artist.
