It’s important to support public radio broadcasting as a listening alternative to the commercial stations that derive funding from advertising. Public radio offers unique content, including news, public affairs, and musical programming that you would not otherwise hear on the airwaves. Public radio is funded by a combination of federal government support, grants from foundations and businesses, sponsorships and regular contributions from motivated listeners. Without your help, the radio band would be a much less interesting place.
