poster from the Gugus magazine "Midnight October 7th 1910, Sirs... it's time ! The end of the Green Fairy, Absinthe prohibition in Switzerland" >>> The 5th of July 1908, a referendum for the prohibition of the Absinthe was accepted by the Swiss population. The prohibition begans the 7th of October 1910 at midnight. The priest is showing the jour "J", a foot on the stabbed Green Fairy (the nick-name of the absinthe). The dagger is the "Blue Cross" of the anti-alcoholic society. In the back the 3 lengendary Swiss warriors are doing their promise over "1921" (date of the foundation of Switzerland) At the right a very very old "Helvetia women" is sitting over "1910". This image was firstly printed in black and white in the "Gugus" a satyric magazine from Geneva. To repond to the great success of this image, a poster was printed during the campaign.

My 11 yo wore adult XL (5’7” 165#). The 8yo is small framed. She wore adult small and tied it in the back. Dark haired male wore adult large and 5’9”, 110# female wore adult medium . Good quality dark Heather gray, Gildan brand shirt. -it was next up from basic choice and cost about $20 per shirt. Not too thick or thin. Washed and dried well, no major shrinkage. Not see-through. Can wear a bra under it fine. Screen print is just as shown and well done, front and back.
