This prayer is about giving over one's self to God. In the image, I wanted to convey surrender and offering. Though sometimes watercolor can be a very precise medium, in this case, I wanted a looser, more painterly effect. I had to "surrender" to the movement of pigment in the water and across the paper. The shirt is good quality and fits just fine, but the colors of the printing are not as bright as in the sample photo. Not the best. The colors are a lot brighter in the sample photo; when I received the shirt they appeared faded. The red looks a little more pink and the blue is a lot lighter. N.B. I did not wash the shirt yet.
