Sutherland Clan's Dunrobin Castle Tartan T-Shirt
Dunrobin Castle, the seat of the Sutherland clan, is one of the great houses in Scotland, located a mile north of Golspie. Most of the castle is relatively new, dating from the 1800s. However, the lands of Sutherland, as much as one million acres, were acquired before 1211 by Hugh, Lord of Duffus, grandson of the Flemish nobleman Freskin. Hugh’s son William became the first Earl of Sutherland about 1235. The Earldom of Sutherland can descend to either a male or female. The castle and its garden are open for tours. I am happy with my purchase. The tee shirt is a nice quality. Not too thin, but not high end. It is what I had expected. I am happy with the color and the design. I am giving it as a gift, so I don't yet know anything about fading. The sizing looks to be true. The printing looks very nice. The colors are not bright, which is what I was expecting.
