The T-45 Goshawk is used by the United States Navy as an aircraft carrier-capable trainer. The T-45 has been used for the intermediate and advanced portions of the Naval Aviator Strike Pilot training program. The T-45 Goshawk is utilized extensively by US Naval fighter pilots before moving on to fast jets such as the F-35B and F-35C Lightnings, the F/A-18 Super Hornets and the EA-18G Growlers.
